Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union, is a renowned meditation master and the Spiritual Guide of Madhyamaka Centre. Geshe-la – as he is affectionately known – was ordained as a Buddhist monk at the age of eight and then spent almost forty years in concentrated study and meditation.
Venerable Geshe-la’s presentation of Buddhist teachings is especially suited to modern lifestyles, making meditation accessible to everyone. Since coming to the West in 1977, he has written 21 books that reveal the entire path to enlightenment, trained hundreds of qualified meditation teachers and established over one thousand meditation centres and groups around the world. He has also pioneered the International Temples Project who’s aim is to build a temple dedicated to world peace in every major city in the world.
Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab
Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab is the Spiritual Director of the NKT and the Resident Teacher at Manjushri KMC, the Mother Center of Kadampa Buddhism Gen-la has studied and practiced Kadampa Buddhism since 1980 under the guidance of his Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. His teachings, humility and kindness exemplify the essence of the Buddhist way of life. He is a perfect example of a Kadampa Teacher. Each year, Gen-la Khyenrab teaches at the International Festivals, National Festivals, and Dharma Celebrations throughout the world.

Kelsang Chowang
Kelsang Chöwang is the resident at Ratnasambhava Centre, she teaches the classes and courses held at Ratnasambhava Centre, she has studied at Madhyamaka Centre for many years on the teacher training programme and has been teaching meditation classes for a number of years.
