  • Remembering the kindness of our Founder June 4th is the day that Buddha first turned the wheel of Dharma in this world. On this special day we celebrate the activities and kindness of our root Guru and founder of the New Kadampa Tradition, Vemerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. On this day we emphasize faith, rejoicing and gratitude, natural sources of pure happiness. Using the special prayer 'Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso from his Faithful Disciples' and reciting our Guru's name mantra, we will offer our practice to him - especially our faith. There are three sessions using the sadhana 'The Hundreds of Deities of the Joyful Land According to Highest Yoga Tantra' and the special request prayer. The retreat will conclude with 'Offering to the Spiritual Guide', special prayers dedicated to the flourishing of Venerable Geshe-la's work in this world. Everyone is welcome! Session times: 9 - 10.30 am | 11 - 12.20pm | 2 - 3.30pm Offering to the Spiritual Guide: 4.30 - 6pm There is no charge for this event and everyone is welcome!
